Our Story
In Early 2021, four students from the Peddie School committed to helping families hit hard by COVID-19. As students ourselves, education has been the prime center of their organization. They originally launched Academic Advancements Tutoring, a service local students in New Jersey have to enrich their education. Proceeds from the service all went into the saving of funds and/or establishment of the NGO program. But in May of 2021, Academic Advancements became a government-certified NGO and established its mission to assist families in India, Taiwan, Korea and more affected by COVID.
Since then, Academic Advancements reached out to affected families in India, Taiwan, China, and Ecuador, and expanded its mission. In early October of 2021, AAT aided their first family (2 children) by financially supporting their education, and continued to do so on a monthly basis. As of March 2023, AAT is actively providing financial aid for the education of 60+ students. AAT has also impacted a total of 5187 students worldwide through financial aid and tutoring and works with 11 partners across the globe to achieve their goal of helping underprivileged students receive an education.
